Job Summary

Impact Freight Services is an Asset based transportation provider based out of Acheson, AB. We are looking to add Long Haul Truck Drivers to our team to operate across Canada and USA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight over long distances, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor-trailers across long-distance routes.
  • Adhering to federal and state transportation regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates or delivery issues.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and transportation laws during operations.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
  • Proven experience in truck driving, particularly in long-haul or route driving roles.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial drivers.
  • Ability to load & unload freight efficiently and safely.
  • Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
  • Can stay on road for 6+ days
