We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Class 5 Driver to join our team for a 3-month contract. This role primarily involves cross-border deliveries to Blaine, Washington, along with local pickups in the Lower Mainland. You'll represent Stallion Express on the road, ensuring timely, safe, and accurate deliveries while maintaining strong communication and professionalism.

When needed, you'll also support warehouse operations by helping with general scanning, sorting, and processing tasks, keeping things running smoothly between trips.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: Start between 7:00–8:00 AM, finish between 4:00–5:00 PM
  • Saturday: Start between 7:00–10:00 AM (approx. 3–4 hours)
  • Flexibility is essential, as the schedule may change last-minute to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 20ft box truck between Richmond, BC and Blaine, WA.
  • Complete 2 drop-offs near the U.S. border (approx. 15 minutes past crossing).
  • Handle 2–3 local pickups on the return route.
  • Load and unload pallets using a pallet jack and lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
  • Answer shipment-related questions at the border (e.g., contents, quantity, etc.)
  • Stay in touch throughout trips — provide updates or respond to real-time requests (e.g., document adjustments, special pulls, etc.).
  • Operate safely and confidently in all weather conditions, including rain and snow during Q4.
  • Assist in the warehouse with scanning, sorting, and processing shipments when not on the road.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Valid Class 5 driver's license (clean abstract required).
  • Must hold a valid password and US visa to cross the border
  • Ability to work independently and stay flexible.
  • Comfortable with last-minute schedule adjustments.
  • Strong customer service skills for daily client interaction.
  • Must be tech-savvy with the ability to communicate effectively, while prioritizing safety.

The selected candidate for this role will need to undergo a background check.
