Job Overview

Let'sTalkMe Inc. is seeking a qualified Swim Instructor & Personal Trainer to deliver high-quality aquatic instruction and land-based personal training to clients across the Mississauga region. This role is ideal for an energetic, compassionate professional who enjoys working with diverse populations, including children, adults, seniors, and individuals with special needs. Sessions may take place in private pools, community facilities, or client homes (where applicable).

Duties

  • Deliver one-on-one and small-group swim instruction focused on water safety, skill development, and confidence building
  • Provide personalized personal training sessions based on client goals, abilities, and health considerations
  • Adapt programming for special populations (e.g., seniors, neurological conditions, developmental disabilities) when required
  • Track client progress, attendance, and session notes
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and engaging training environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Let'sTalkMe Inc. team
  • Uphold company standards, policies, and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or enrolled in Kinesiology, Health Sciences, Psychology or related field
  • Current Swim Instructor Certification (e.g., Lifesaving Society, Red Cross, or equivalent)
  • Recognized Personal Training Certification (e.g., ISSA, NASM, CanFitPro, CPTN, or equivalent)
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification (current)
  • Experience working with children and/or special populations is a strong asset
  • Access to a personal, reliable, and insured method of transportation
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week

Work Location: In person
