Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized bakery environment. Duties

• Assist customers with selecting baked goods and answer product-related questions.
• Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for accurate cashiering and cash handling.
• Prepare and package bakery items according to safety and quality standards.
• Restock shelves and display cases to ensure product availability.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the bakery area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Upsell bakery products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Work Location: In person
