Avidly is an inbound marketing, creative design, web development and Elite Hubspot marketing agency. Our team is based in Europe however has recently expanded to Nova Scotia and we are looking for a Content Writer to support our team.  It's an exciting opportunity to join at the start of our journey in Canada and play a major role in our growth plans.

What's the job?

You'll do a lot of writing in different forms across multiple digital channels depending on your clients needs and strategies, all which aim to meet their strategic goals. Types of content you will write include:

Long-form content including blogs, eBooksEmails and workflowsLanding page creationWeb copy

You'll help create the strategic content plans, which turn inbound campaigns plans into top-quality content. 

And that's just the start. At the end of a campaign, you'll also analyse how well your work has performed when it comes to generating leads. It's your job to make sure you gather the learnings, share them with the team and continually make improvements so the insights can shape future campaigns.

Who are you?

You'll need to have a variety of skills.

Have experience writing long and short form piecesMinimum 2 years of digital marketing experienceKnowledgeable in email marketing and lead gen tactics

    Quarterly team meals As one of our core values, we think it's really important to build strong relationships (and enjoy good food). Therefore every quarter each team goes for a meal or enjoys an activity together of their choice. 

    Flexible Working Hours: Our potential office working hours are 8am-6pm and core hours are 10am-4pm to give you the flexibility of when to start your day. Full time working hours are 35.5 per week.

    Creative working environment: We have a modern, purpose built, office which is fully stocked and has facilities for fun as well as work.

    Vacation 16 days holiday per year, after five years this increases to 20 days.

    Social Team Activities: A mixture of in the office and out of the office activities, we make sure we have regular things planned to help build strong relationships. From weekends away, celebrating Eid to Weekly five-a-side and dungeons and dragons.

    Structured Review Process: For your progression and development it is important to us you have dedicated touchpoints with your manager. From fortnightly 1-1s, quarterly meetings and annual reviews.
