The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated knowledge of PLC's, instrumentation, motors & motor controls, relays, and transformers are required. You will provide support to production to ensure equipment is functional, operational, and safe. You will possess strong communication skills, understanding and commitment to the team effort, flexibility, and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.


Requirements

·      Valid Electrical Certificate of Qualification (309A or 442A), Apprentices need not apply

·      8+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment

·      Experience working with outside vendors and outsourced contractors

·      Demonstrated knowledge and experience of PLC's, instrumentation, motors & motor controls, relays, and transformers

·      Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

·      Working knowledge of related maintenance and repair practices

·      Valid Class G Drivers Licence

·      Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

·      Must have mathematics, oral and written communications skills at the trade journeyman level.

·      Ability to deal with multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively

·      Ability to work under pressure to ensure production deadlines

·      Environmentally aware and Quality Conscious

·      Located in the Oakville/Mississauga area

·      Union facility

·      Great Benefit and RSP

·      47.94/hr. with shift premium for working night shift

·      Dayshift: 6:30am-6:30pm, Nightshift: 6:30pm-6:30am (Shift work and weekends are required)



Benefits

Salary: $47.00-$49.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 – 50.00 per week
