Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a range of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and roll-off trucks to transport vehicles and freight across designated routes
  • Load and unload cargo or other equipment as needed, ensuring secure placement for transit
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checks on manual transmissions and specialized trailer features
  • Follow planned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Manage documentation for deliveries, pickups, load manifests, and route logs with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit
  • Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of trucks to ensure optimal performance throughout each shift

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) ,AZ with experience operating
  • Proven driving experience in freight delivery, route driving, or auto hauling roles
  • Familiarity with different trailer types including , flatbeds, and roll-off trucks
  • Skilled in manual transmission operation and comfortable handling complex vehicle controls
  • Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using equipment when necessary
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling and truck operation
  • Strong navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes while maintaining punctuality

Nice-to-have skills include experience with freight handling involving various truck types such as flatbeds ,familiarity with load securing techniques; and previous work with delivery drivers or commercial trucking. Candidates with a background in trucking safety standards or certifications related to heavy vehicle operation will stand out.
