Company Description

We are an engineering services company specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects across sectors such as railways (high-speed and conventional), metro systems (driverless and traditional), and tramways, as well as civil works including tunnels built with both TBM and traditional methods.

Our expertise lies in managing the operational interfaces between multiple activities during infrastructure construction, particularly in environments where construction and passenger operations coexist.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a TCO Operator located in Brampton-Mississauga, ON. We are looking for a TCO Operator to support railway operations within project sites and along active tracks. The role involves assisting with the coordination and safe execution of daily railway operations, ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support site management and coordination teams in daily operations
  • Manage work permits, keys, and access to operational areas
  • Assist in railway switching, power ON/OFF operations, and movement of vehicles
  • Install and remove short-circuiting and grounding devices as required
  • Conduct inspections and sweep runs, reporting any anomalies or risks
  • Operate communication systems (radio/phone) to support coordination activities
  • Participate in safety inspections and comply with established railway procedures

Qualifications

  • Entry-level candidates are welcome; experience in the railway sector is an asset
  • Ability to work on-site in Brampton-Mississauga, ON and manage operational tasks effectively
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Ability to coordinate activities on large infrastructure projects and ensuring safety compliance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to follow technical and operational procedures accurately
