Mathematics Teacher - Online Part-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Online Math Teachers to join our global teaching team. Our programs include two teaching formats:

  • Group Classes: Interactive online lessons with groups of students.
  • 1-on-1 Private Lessons: Personalized tutoring sessions tailored to individual learning needs.

Position 1: Math Teacher for Group Class

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging and effective online math lessons for students aged 6–18.
  • Follow the structured curriculum and teaching materials provided by our academic team.
  • Create an inclusive and motivating learning environment that supports student participation and progress.
  • Participate in periodic professional development sessions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in in STEM, Education, or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience with K–12 students.
  • Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities in English.

Position 2: Math Tutor for 1-on-1 Private Lessons

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized math instruction for students aged 9–14.
  • Identify single student learning needs and tailor lessons accordingly.
  • Provide guidance to help students strengthen their mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.
  • Participate in periodic professional development sessions.

Qualifications

  • Current university students or graduates with a degree in STEM, Education, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in 1-on-1 tutoring or mentoring.
  • Solid mathematics knowledge and strong communication skills.
  • Confidence and professionalism in conducting English-based instruction.

Technical Requirements

  • Desktop or laptop computer.
  • Stable high-speed internet connection.
  • Functional webcam, headset, and microphone.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate: USD 25–30, based on teaching experience and class type.

Working Hours:

Los Angeles Time (US) :

Tuesday/Wednesday :4pm-9pm

Friday:4pm-9pm

Saturday/Sunday:2pm-9pm

Particularly high demand on weekends Expected for at least 8 hours fixed availability weekly for 6 months.
