We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks within tenanted residential units, ensuring that every repair is executed with precision and efficiency. If you have a passion for carpentry, painting, trim work, installations, and small residential repairs, this position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter tenanted units to perform small jobs and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
  • Enjoy the convenience of a flexible work schedule that accommodates your availability.
  • Receive approximately 2-3 work orders per day, ensuring prompt and thorough completion.
  • Make sure that all necessary instructions, keys, and tools are ready for each job to maximize efficiency.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including carpentry, painting, trim work, installations, light fixture replacements, and other small residential repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in maintenance and repair work.
  • Proficiency in carpentry, painting, trim work, smoke detectors, and light fixture installations.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with tenants and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Must be able to lift equipment over head, bend and carry items of 30 pounds or more.
  • Must have a variety of tools available for jobs.
  • Must have your own vehicle with insurance.
  • Must have a smartphone with a data plan.
  • Must obtain a police clearance.
