Position Name – .NET Senior Developer

Type of hiring – Fulltime

Location – Scarborough, ON (4 days onsite)

Work Location at Office – 2668 Eglinton Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario M1K 2S3

Pre-Screening Questions (to include with each profile submission):

  1. Experience with .NET Framework? When did you last work with it?
  2. Experience with .NET Core/ASP.NET Core? When was the last project where you used it?
  3. What front-end technologies have you worked with? Please share your years of experience and when you last used them. [Possible Answer: JavaScript, Angular, React].
  4. Which logging frameworks have you used? When was the last time you implemented one? [Possible Answer : Serilog, NLog, log4net]
  5. Experience with SQL Server?
  6. How many years of experience do you have with RESTful and SOAP APIs? Have you integrated third-party APIs into your applications? If yes, can you share details of your last experience?
  7. Do you have experience setting up CI/CD pipelines? When was the last time you worked on deployment pipelines?
  8. How do you ensure secure coding practices in your applications? Have you applied OWASP standards before?
  9. How do you manage performing code reviews?
  10. How do you make your applications more scalable?

Please give preference to candidates who have used these technologies within the last year

Job Description:

  • Experience developing web applications using .NET Framework 4.5 or later / ASP.Net / C# / MVC / RESTful API.
  • Backend / Server Side Development using SQL Server.
  • Experience with MS Entity Framework 6.0, HTML
  • Experience in using reporting tools like SSRS is a must.
  • Experience with tools like Team Foundation Server (TFS), Azure DevOps (CI\CD pipeline).
  • Experience on cloud-based platforms like GCP.
  • Able to work independently with minimal guidance and support right from end-to-end development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
