What's a typical day as Accountant II? You'll be:

  • Analyzing financial data and preparing accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
  • Maintaining precise documentation of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Preparing and reviewing tax filings and supporting audits as required.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver insightful financial recommendations.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (must have).
  • Bring 2–4 years of professional accounting experience (must have).
  • Are proficient in accounting software and MS Excel (must have).
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills (must have).
  • Have experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle (preferred).
  • Are familiar with Canadian tax regulations and reporting standards (preferred).
  • Can commit to a Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM work schedule, with occasional Sunday work as needed.
