Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized support and assistance to enhance the well-being of those in your care.

Duties

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor Residents for any changes in health status.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall quality of life for clients.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong caregiving skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to clients.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A valid certification or training in caregiving or nursing is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $19.27-$19.77 per hour
