Summary

Canarm currently has an opening in its Administration Department. As the Receptionist, the successful candidate will be responsible for the operations of the reception area. This 12-month contract will commence November 17th, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate person or department promptly and efficiently
  • Respond to general inquiries and provide accurate information about the company
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail or packages
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Manage company office supplies
  • Process customer invoices
  • Provide administrative support to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Previous reception experience and bilingualism are definite assets
