YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Operations Department. A Miner 4 is an entry level role to Mining and may work in varied areas of Mine Haulage (Production or Services). The role supports others and is part of a team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Haulage & Rock Breaker Operations.
  • Perform work safely to meet productivity expectations and schedules.
  • Housekeeping - keep work areas clean and free from hazards.
  • Communication - from and with others, recording accurate records on 5-point (Zero Hazard) card, aligning with daily tasks assigned.
  • Teamwork - complete set tasks and actively assist others to complete their tasks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Minimum 1 years' experience as a Miner 4 or equivalent
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team.
  • Comfortable in all types of working conditions including confined spaces, low light, heights, hot, cold, and humid temperatures.
  • Demonstrates safety awareness.
  • Physically Fit, self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Tolerance for hot, cold and humid environments
  • UG Common Core (Ontario)
