Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The technician will play a vital role in providing quality service to our clients by diagnosing issues accurately and implementing effective solutions.

Duties

  • Install, service, and repair air conditioning units and HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
  • Repair or replace faulty components including compressors, fans, thermostats
  • Collaborate with clients to explain repairs and recommend preventative maintenance strategies
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
  • Adhere to safety standards and building codes during all service activities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician or mechanic with a strong understanding of HVAC systems
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
  • Experience with construction or maintenance work is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; relevant certifications in HVAC are advantageous
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or elevated locations
