As part of our warehouse team, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations and contributing to the overall success of both our customers and A.M.A.
Job Summary
We are looking for a versatile, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who can perform a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has experience in material handling and forklift operation and is comfortable working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar barcode-based software. We are seeking someone who is efficient, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment utilizing RF scanners and order picker equipment
- Support shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks efficiently
- Assist with materials handling tasks including packaging, assembly, and order fulfillment
- Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or related roles
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and RF scanners, are an asset
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely
- Experience with order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks regularly
- Organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock management
- Prior experience in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
