Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding onvarious materials, including sheet metal and beam
• Fabricate components according to specifications outlined in blueprints and schematics.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press plasma cutters.
• Conduct assembly tasks for various projects, ensuring all parts fit together correctly.
• Utilize measuring tools such as a measurement tape accurate measurements.
• Execute rigging tasks safely when moving heavy materials or equipment.
• Maintain compliance with ASME codes and standards throughout the fabrication process.
• Collaborate with team members on construction site projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the welding or fabrication process, applying mechanical knowledge to resolve them.

Experience

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Experience operating cranes and forklifts safely on job sites.
• Strong understanding of basic math principles related to measurements and calculations in welding tasks.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$31.00 per hour
