We are seeking a care companion for a senior female who lives in an assisted living residence in Port Coquitlam. Duties include companionship, recreational activities and occasional outings. The requested shifts are 2 to 5 pm, twice a week. The exact days can be flexible but we prefer not two days in a row. There will be outings that require driving so we are looking for a caregiver with a car and there will be reimbursement for mileage. Please apply to learn more

myCareBase is an online platform that connects families who are caring for an aging loved one, with caregivers looking for work. We help families and paid caregivers facilitate the recruitment, vetting and placement process.

We want to help you find more clients You set your own hourly rates, and have control of when and where you want to work. There is no cost to be included on our platform.

Accepted candidates will go through an assessment and vetting process to ensure a consistent level of quality on our platform. This process will include a job reference check (so please be prepared to provide 2 job references) and a criminal background check.

Job Type: Part-time
