Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team for US runs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across Canada-US. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to transportation regulations. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of freight shipments.
Duties
- Operate commercial trucks to transport freight, heavy equipment, and other cargo to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or equipment operation when required.
Skills
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of freight handling, securing loads, and transportation safety standards.
- Ability to operate basic automotive repair tools for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of route planning and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate heavy machinery, and perform vehicle inspections.
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is advantageous but not mandatory. This position offers an essential role within our logistics operations, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and professionalism at all times.

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
