Are you looking for that career that will allow you to combine your clinical expertise and your proven leadership skills? Northern Health is seeking a Sterile Compounding Coordinator to join our Pharmacy department

In accordance with Northern Health's vision and values, this position operates in accordance with the scope of practice and standards of practice for Pharmacy Technicians as outlined by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (CPBC) and according to organizational policies, procedures, and standards. Within the assigned work area(s)/site(s) the Sterile Compounding Coordinator monitors and maintains pharmacy compliance with the legislated standards required to compound hazardous and non-hazardous sterile preparations. This role works collaboratively with Pharmacy Managers, Pharmacy Technician Supervisors, and other Sterile Compounding Coordinators to implement regional standards. The Coordinator is responsible for providing direct operational support to pharmacy technician staff responsible for compounding pharmaceutical products within the assigned work area(s)/site(s).

Shift Rotation/Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00

Ksyen Regional Hospital
The new Ksyen Regional Hospital welcomed its first patients on November 24, 2024. More than double the size of the previous hospital, the facility features 82 beds, private rooms, and is a centre for trauma services, orthopedic surgeries, pathology, radiology, clinical support, and pharmacy services. The hospital is also a training site for medical students in the Northern Medical Program.

Terrace
