Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced U.S. Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and materials to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of cargo. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management. Candidates with skills in US driving, defensive driving techniques and safe commercial vehicle operation are highly valued to support various operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight and materials across designated routes
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
  • Load and unload freight using pump truck, forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting, including minor repairs when needed
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
  • Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or equipment operation when required

Requirements

  • Valid DZ license with a clean driving record, no accident history
  • 4 years U.S driving experience, and freight transportation
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling and vehicle operation
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment
