Position Type: Part-time. Monday 10-3, Wednesday 3-7, Thursday 3-7, with some flexibility

Responsibilities:

  • Cutting, grinding and packaging meat, fish and other shop products. Experience butchering full animals is a plus (cow, lamb).
  • Providing meat cut recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Some grilling or frying burgers, fries, and other ingredients.
  • Weighing, measuring, mixing, and prepping ingredients according to recipes.
  • Previous chef experience is a bonus.
  • Greet and assist customers, providing excellent service.
  • Take accurate orders, handle payments, and provide receipts.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized counter area.
  • Assist with dishwashing if needed.
  • Restock products and manage inventory.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Butchering or culinary diploma preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Prior experience in butchering, kitchen, or restaurant/culinary roles.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
