The Role:

The Customer Insights Data Analyst will play an important role in interpreting organizational performance, company statistics, customer feedback, market trends and more to provide actionable insights, which will allow upper management to make fact driven informed decision across the organization.

The main responsibilities of this role will encompass analyzing various sources of data and utilizing advanced analytical tools to develop helpful reports and dashboards for upper management. By transforming complex data sets into actionable insights, you will contribute to enhancing business growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. 

This work opportunity is based out of our Calgary, Alberta head office.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze company data, financial metrics, market trends, and statistics to generate insights that support informed decision-making.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that highlight key trends, metrics, and insights for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address data-driven business challenges and provide analytical support tailored to their needs.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to deliver timely and actionable findings for decision-makers.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques using tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence (BI) platforms to structure and present data effectively.
  • Build and maintain key reports and dashboards within PBS's project management platform.
  • Champion data-driven initiatives that align with business objectives and contribute to growth, operational efficiency, and improved customer experience.
  • Create visually compelling reports and dashboards to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing and following robust data management processes.
  • Partner with PBS stakeholders and teams to deliver relevant data and insights that support corporate initiatives.
  • Support agile delivery within the analytical function of this role and contribute to continuous improvement of its analytical processes 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, or Information Systems
  • Proficient in SQL, Power BI, or other data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel; a quick learner, and technologically savvy.
  • Knowledge of Onboarding and Project Management tools such as Wrike or Rocketlane is an asset.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools such as HubSpot
  • Fluent in English, and exceptional communication skills are required.  (French is an asset).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link business objectives to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent attention to detail, outstanding prioritization, and organizational skills, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute and communicate positively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Automotive or Dealership Industry experience is an asset.
