Overview

We are looking for a flooring installer, or a well rounded handy-person with carpentry skills wanting to focus on flooring installations. Someone with a great attitude and a positive energy that wants to be a part of our team.

Duties

- Install various types of flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and more.

- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas accurately

- Perform tasks related to floor preparation including levelling, sanding, and cleaning

- Apply caulking and sealants as needed for a finished look

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet quality standards

We are an all hands on deck company, so there will be times when you will be doing a variety of different duties, but will primarily be flooring installations.

Experience

- Proficiency in using tools commonly used in carpentry and flooring installation

- Knowledge of different flooring materials and installation techniques

- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any installation challenges that may arise.

  • Must Have a valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Be able to do heavy lifting of 50lbs regularly.

  • Works well with and around others, as well as by yourself.

  • Must be willing to learn new applications.

  • Above all have a good attitude and a good work ethic

Job sites will vary from Trail, Rossland, Fruitvale, Salmo, Castlegar, and surrounding areas.

Benefit package after 3 month probation period.
