The electromechanical technician is an integral part of the technical department. They assemble cutting tables and ensure their proper operation. They are frequently required to travel for short stays to our clients' sites, mainly located in Canada and the United States.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
  • Assemble the components of the machines using electrical and mechanical plans
  • Perform start-up tests and machine settings
  • Perform functional tests, locate and repair electrical and mechanical issues
  • Install CNC Plasma Tables
  • Provide training to operators on installed equipment (operation, software, maintenance, safety)
  • Perform remote support and diagnostics
  • Provide service on site
  • Perform other related duties
  • Assist in other machine set up when needed
SKILLS
  • Experience and / or diploma in industrial electronics or electromechanics
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience in industrial maintenance or in the installation of equipment (an asset)
  • Knowledge of plasma cutting (an asset)
  • Experience in CNC operation (an asset)
  • Experience in CAD (an asset)
  • Available for travel at least 60 to 70 % of the time
  • Valid passport and driver's license (obligatory)

  • Able to work without supervision, self starter
