About the Role

We are looking for a
Product Manager – AI
to lead and provide oversight of the development, deployment, and adoption of AI-powered solutions across the enterprise. This role will focus on identifying and implementing use cases where AI can drive business value, working in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, product managers, and technology teams. The Product Manager will translate business needs into actionable product requirements, prioritize initiatives based on value and feasibility, and guide AI projects from concept through to delivery and adoption. A strong understanding of Microsoft's AI capabilities and roadmap will be important, as the Product Manager will be expected to align Brookfield's internal AI strategy with advancements in the Microsoft ecosystem, including tools like Copilot. The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge, business acumen, and strategic vision to help integrate AI into platforms and business processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with product managers and technology owners, drive all aspects of the AI product vision, governance, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Identify, gather, and refine compelling AI use cases starting with high-impact areas, and prioritize initiatives based on business value and feasibility.
  • Develop business cases and justify investments in new AI capabilities or pilot projects.
  • Maintain a dynamic backlog or pipeline of AI enhancements, regularly updating priorities based on stakeholder feedback and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product managers and technology owners to assess where and how AI capabilities should be leveraged across business platforms, ensuring alignment with product goals and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with architects to assess where AI is most appropriate compared to automation or analytics, ensuring the right technologies are applied to each use case.
  • As use cases are developed, collaborate with architects, product managers, and technology owners to assess which AI tools should be leveraged in order to meet the business goals while aligning with the overall AI vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Champion the adoption of AI tools across the organization by promoting awareness, engagement, and practical usage.
  • Manage change effectively by addressing user concerns, communicating benefits, and helping stakeholders shift from traditional processes to AI-enhanced workflows.
  • Promote user adoption through training, demos, and success stories.
  • Monitor performance and value of AI solutions; iterate based on feedback.
  • Incorporate Microsoft's AI roadmap and direction into planning.
  • Collaborate with corporate AI leadership to align on strategy and governance.

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Proven experience applying AI technologies to solve business problems; familiarity with generative AI, machine learning workflows, and model lifecycle management is preferred.
  • Relevant AI certifications (such as Microsoft AI Engineer Associate, Azure AI Fundamentals, or equivalent) are considered an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree or AI certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in product or project management, with a focus on data or AI/ML initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML tools and concepts.
  • Technical proficiency with data and analytics platforms is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Databricks, Power BI is considered an asset.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and management, including effective communication, expectation management, and facilitating productive discussions.

Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield's identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for 4 days to perform most effectively. We will reassess the approach on a as needed basis.
