Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure a positive experience for all clients.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and health histories before each session.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual client goals and preferences.
  • Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment space, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
  • Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with clinic policies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care when needed.

Skills

  • Proficient in medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey treatment plans and recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
