JOB PURPOSE:
This is a key strategic customer facing role that is primarily focused on the management of supply chain relationships with key customers and service providers in a way that optimizes customer satisfaction & expectations while providing The Magnum Ice Cream Company with a strategic advantage and builds customer growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement logistics and supply chain initiatives and capabilities in collaboration with key customers to improve mutual supply chain processes, activities and resulting measurements.
  • Champion adherence to supply chain best practices. Collaboratively manage multiple links within overall customer supply chain function to achieve excellence in customer service.
  • Work closely with the Customer Operations Manager and 3rd party providers for key customers and working together to drive growth with customers on successful execution of service and key initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong link with Customer Development. Collaborate and partner with Customer Development teams to drive growth for the customer and for Magnum. Work closely with cross functional partners to lead key customer initiatives.
  • Represent Magnum at industry forums, customer supplier boards and speaking engagements.
  • Resident expert in external market and trends that provide valuable insights back to Magnum.
  • Lead strategy projects that drive value and growth for Magnum.
  • Develop a highly effective team while focusing on attracting, retaining and developing individuals to deliver customer service excellence and consistency in customer alignment.
  • Succession planning and career development for their organization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 

Skills and Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations / Logistics / Business / Engineering
  • MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience that is Logistics / Operations / Manufacturing / Customer Service focused
  • Minimum 3 years as a manager or leadership position including responsibilities for the oversight of a team
  • Broad-based experience including direct customer interface is preferred.

  • You're a strategy guru: You leverage Unilever customer relationships to find near term and longer term breakthroughs in the end to end Supply Chain. You are able to navigate inside the organization to bring the best of what Unilever has to offer to bring the strategy changes to life.
  • You're a born leader: Ability to listen to customers and keep an open mind in developing new ways to collaborate. Take time to reflect and provide a clear vision while setting expectations. Ability to handle difficult conversations while strengthening relationships,
  • You're a dot connector: You can see the "big picture" in the Unilever supply chain and bring insights to customers in a way that is concise, streamlined and compelling. Establish priorities by linking closely with CCD to drive mutual value for Unilever.
  • You're a story teller: You have the ability to understand the end to end supply chain with customers and Unilever creating the ability to tell the story and leverage for greater integration and alignment between parties.
  • You're a teacher: Lead a team of individuals through personal and professional development. Provide challenging opportunities that creates high performance focusing on both inner and outer game behaviors.
  • You're a changemaker: You have mastered working with white space creating vision and 3 year strategy with customers that deliver against company targets/goals. Provide creative solutions to improve a consumer driven supply chain. You are able to influence customers to find an agreeable way forward to the desired outcome.
  • You're a paradox navigator: You evaluate trade-off between time, cost and service to satisfy both Unilever and customers. You are an expert of your customers and work seamless between parties.
  • You're a culture & change champion: Work closely with cross functional colleagues both internally and externally as one team and aligning expectations while holding others accountable. Demonstrate and evolve the CSC culture with ongoing support and continuous improvement.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $115,680 to $173,520. TMICC takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
