The Growth team at Botpress is seeking a Software Developer with a knack for swift, practical development and a passion for experimentation. We are aggressively focused on increasing revenue, short-term and long-term. We source valuable problems from customers, the market, and our sales pipeline, and go and attack the problems. About Botpress:

As we expand our capabilities, our Growth team seeks a Software Developer passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. Botpress is open to sponsoring visas for US and Mexican nationals to join us in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain customer-impacting features or integrations using React & (Typescript)
  • Hop on calls with people to understand their issues and come up with solutions.
  • Implement and oversee tracking and analytics within the main product to monitor and analyze success metrics.
  • Uphold code quality and ensure continuous improvement through reviews and testing.
  • Produce educational content for our users, written and video. (approximately 15% of the time)

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development or programming in a similar environment. Our go-to stack is Typescript, , , PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS. We encourage candidates to apply even if you only have experience with a portion of our stack.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Independent approach to tasks and projects.
  • Well-organized, excellent work ethic, pays attention to detail, and self-starting
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup and passionate about improving technical abilities
