Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Kitchen & Bathroom Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming clients' kitchen and bathrooms visions into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. You will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget while ensuring that your designs comply with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise in design will help enhance the overall functionality and appeal of residential spaces.

Duties

  • Consult with clients to assess their kitchen design needs and preferences.
  • Create detailed kitchen layouts using design software, incorporating cabinetry, countertops, appliances, and fixtures.
  • Present design concepts to clients, including 3D renderings and material samples.
  • Collaborate with contractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process, addressing any client concerns or modifications.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen/Bathroom Designer or in a similar role within the interior design industry.
  • Proficiency in design software such as 2020 Design, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar programs.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen layout principles, ergonomics, and space planning.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree or certification in Interior Design or a related field is preferred but not required.

Note: This position is also comission based.
