As a student, you will build lasting relationships with industry leaders, and contribute to work that will build and strengthen your skill sets. Primary duties include:

  • Process routine and ad-hoc journal entries, PO coding corrections, and other data entry tasks.
  • Participate in documenting accounting processes for items such as month end close, financial statement preparation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Contribute to refining and improving accounting processes and documentation across Financial Accounting Services team
  • Assist the team in reviewing and validating internal reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Contribute to the completion and execution of special projects.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a diploma or degree program, with a major in Accounting
  • Preference will be given to students who have completed at least 1 year of educational program.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Previous experience and/or working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial and Supply Chain Management (FSCM), SAP Business Objects, Hyperion, and Power BI will be considered an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability and confidence to speak and/or present to individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Must have critical thinking and analytical abilities with a desire to further develop those skills.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day

work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
