En tant que Responsable Environnement, Santé et Sécurité, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la promotion d'une culture de sécurité proactive et dans le respect des exigences réglementaires sur le site. Vos contributions comprendront :
Responsabilités principales- Améliorer continuellement le système de gestion SSE du site conformément à la législation locale, aux normes ISO 14001 et 45001, ainsi qu'aux exigences internes en matière SSE.
- Soutenir et influencer les équipes opérationnelles afin d'adopter une approche proactive en matière d'SSE.
- Identifier les risques selon une approche de gestion des risques et veiller à la mise en place de mesures d'atténuation efficaces pour améliorer la performance SSE.
- Assurer la conformité légale par le biais d'audits, d'évaluations et de suivis des plans d'action.
- Fournir un soutien direct et opérationnel dans la gestion des risques SSE propres au site.
- Développer et maintenir des procédures spécifiques au site en matière de gestion des risques.
- Diriger les activités de gouvernance concernant la santé, la sécurité, la performance environnementale, les obligations réglementaires et l'analyse des tendances.
- Représenter le site auprès des organismes externes pour toutes les questions liées à la SSE.
- Participer aux comités SSE du site, y compris au Comité mixte de santé et sécurité.
- Agir comme principal point de contact SSE pour l'équipe de gestion du site.
- Superviser l'équipe SSE du site et gérer le budget du département.
- Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en SSE ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en SSE, de préférence dans un environnement manufacturier et syndiqué; l'expérience en gestion constitue un atout.
- Expérience avérée en développement et mise en œuvre de programmes SSE à l'échelle du site, incluant des responsabilités stratégiques et opérationnelles.
- Capacité à évoluer dans un environnement dynamique et complexe.
- Excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles, de communication et de présentation.
- Capacité à interagir efficacement à tous les niveaux de l'organisation.
- Compétence démontrée en matière de priorisation et d'adaptation aux changements.
- Esprit stratégique, sens de l'innovation et solides capacités d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
- Bilinguisme français‑anglais.

Your Impact in This Role
As the Leader, Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS), you will play a key role in driving a proactive safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance across the site. Your contributions will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously enhance the site's EHS management system in alignment with local legislation, ISO 14001 and 45001 standards, and internal EHS requirements.
- Support and influence operational teams to adopt a proactive EHS mindset.
- Identify risks using a risk‑management approach and ensure effective mitigation measures are implemented to improve overall EHS performance.
- Maintain legal compliance through audits, assessments, and action plan follow‑up.
- Provide direct, frontline support to address and manage site‑specific EHS risks.
- Develop and maintain site-specific procedures related to risk management.
- Lead governance activities related to health, safety, environmental performance, regulatory obligations, and trend analysis.
- Represent the site in interactions with external organizations on EHS matters.
- Participate in site EHS committees, including the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
- Act as the primary EHS point of contact for the site management team.
- Oversee the site EHS team and manage the department's budget.
What You Bring to the Team
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in EHS or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience, ideally in a manufacturing and unionized environment; management experience is an asset.
- Proven experience developing and implementing site-wide EHS programs with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex operational environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Skilled in prioritizing and adapting to evolving business demands.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving and innovation abilities.
- Bilingual in French and English.
