JOB DESCRIPTION: AZ Shunt Driver

Job summary: This position has several functions including but not limited to: ensuring the tractor and any accompanying trailers are in good working order and that the equipment is operated safely at all times. You may be asked to do new tasks as they are presented and therefore you are required to be flexible in this position.

Required KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • License as required by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation
  • AZ Driver in good standing
  • Workplace safety training such as WHMIS
  • TDG training
  • High School education is required with proficiency in Math and English
  • Experience as an AZ driver/Shunter
  • Desired experience in warehouse or related industry experience.
  • Standing, walking and manual lifting products (up to 50 lbs) is required.
  • A positive attitude, and team player
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized working area

OTHER Information

  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Ability of obtaining security clearance
  • Compensation - $25.29
