THE ROLE

CHILD CARE NAVIGATOR

Under the direction of a Program Manager, the Military Family Services Program Specialist will play an important role in helping military families access the child care they need to navigate the pressures of military life, whether preparing for a posting, adjusting for a deployment or facing a tight local child care market, you will help parents understand their child care options and make confident informed decisions.

As part of the Military Family Service team, you will support national initiatives that improve access to child care for CAF families, providing clear information, available options, and timely support when it matters most. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and community partners to build a coordinated network of supports. Your work will inform broader system improvements, highlight emerging needs, and contribute to strategic outcomes that enhance the resilience of military families.

We are looking for a compassionate, resourceful and proactive individual who can guide families through complex systems, build strong partnerships, and deliver impactful initiatives. Your efforts will directly help military families balance service requirements with family responsibilities, and ensure no family navigates the child care system alone.
