Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes according to menu specifications, along with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure timely service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive team environment focused on quality service

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within restaurant or food industry settings
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Culinary experience demonstrating proficiency in food industry practices is highly desirable
