Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure competitive pricing and successful project execution. This role requires a strong understanding of construction estimating processes, project management, and effective negotiation skills to secure profitable contracts. The Estimator will play a vital role in supporting the company's growth by delivering precise estimates that align with project scope and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive construction estimates using industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam and other estimating software and tools.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and required resources.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate terms.
  • Prepare detailed bid proposals, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Review and refine estimates to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Assist in the development of project schedules and manage estimation timelines effectively.
  • Maintain organized records of all estimating documents for future reference and audits.
  • Support project management teams during project execution by providing cost analysis and updates as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, and other estimating or project management software.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, and pricing data.
  • Knowledge of project management principles related to budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $1,200.00-$4,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
