About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced
Capital Markets IT Program Manager
to support a large scale regulatory and compliance initiative within Global Banking and Markets. This program is entering a critical phase and requires strong leadership to coordinate multiple complex workstreams while managing a diverse and senior stakeholder group.

This is a backfill opportunity on a high visibility program with direct exposure to senior leaders and subject matter experts across the organization.

What You Will Do


• Deliver a regulatory program within scope, quality, timeline, and budget


• Lead program level strategy and detailed workstream planning


• Engage regularly with executive and senior level stakeholders


• Manage internal teams and external contractors delivering multiple technology capabilities


• Oversee scope definition, requirements documentation, scheduling, estimation, budgeting, and reporting


• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and contingency planning


• Coordinate across multiple project teams and business workstreams


• Ensure audit readiness and maintain required regulatory artifacts and documentation

Must Have Qualifications


• 10+ years of experience as a Program or Project Manager


• 5+ years of experience supporting Treasury, Equity Derivatives, and Prime Brokerage businesses


• 10+ years of experience delivering technology and business solutions in large scale capital markets environments


• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle


• 5+ years of recent hands on experience with MS Project


• 5+ years of recent experience using Jira or Confluence

Nice to Have


• Experience delivering programs involving front office equity order management, trade execution, or position keeping systems


• Prior experience with regulatory and compliance initiatives in the capital markets domain

• Proactive self starter with strong ownership mindset


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams


• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills


• Comfortable engaging with varied user groups and senior audiences


• Strong executive level messaging and stakeholder management skills

Education


• Bachelor's degree in a related field required


• PMP certification is an asset

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Program Manager with a proven track record delivering complex technology programs within Treasury, Equity Derivatives, and Prime Brokerage businesses on the sell side of capital markets.
