Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster developmental growth in a diverse classroom setting. This role involves planning and implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate experiences
  • Foster a positive environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction
  • Observe and document children's developmental progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behaviour, and needs
  • Collaborate with co-workers
  • Manage classroom routines, including transitions, meal times, and rest periods efficiently
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is essential
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing classroom activities and guiding young learners
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
