Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various arcade games. This role requires a strong knowledge of commercial arcade games and familiarity with computer hardware and schematics. The Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technical infrastructure and supporting ongoing maintenance.

Hours

The position has flexible hours. The successful candidate is expected to respond to arcade game issues within a reasonable timeframe and perform preventative maintenance on a routine basis.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on arcade games
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, and low voltage systems.
• Use hand tools and other diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
• Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to system failures.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations accurately for record-keeping purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to improve system performance and implement new technical solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience or strong knowledge in arcade game repairs
• Familiarity with computer hardware components, schematics, and low voltage wiring.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for repair and installation tasks.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot physical components of electronic systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications or training in electronics, networking, or related fields are a plus.

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
