The RoleAs a Principal Solutions Consultant at Knak, you'll be the technical linchpin in our sales process. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, translating customer needs into powerful product demos and solutions. With deep product knowledge and storytelling finesse, you'll lead discovery sessions, overcome technical objections, and help close complex deals.
This role reports to our Chief Revenue Officer and plays a critical part in shaping how Knak is represented to prospective clients—from first interaction to final handshake.
What You'll Be DoingLead technical discovery with prospects to understand their needs and align Knak solutions
Design and deliver tailored product demos that showcase the power and flexibility of our platform
Coach and support the sales team with technical expertise, demo scripting, RFP responses, and training
Capture customer and market insights to influence product direction and innovation
Represent Knak externally, from senior executive meetings to industry events
5+ years in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect role in SaaS or enterprise software
Deep expertise in marketing technologies and platforms (Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Pardot, Braze, etc.)
Strong technical chops—especially with APIs, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AMPscript (preferred)
Exceptional demo delivery and storytelling skills with a knack for making the complex simple
Strategic thinking, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset
High integrity and professionalism in every interaction
Experience designing custom demo environments
Prior success enabling sales teams with technical training and content
Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and working directly with executive stakeholders
