What You'll Be Doing:

  • Learn and assist in administering full-cycle accounts payable from invoice entry to payment processing

  • Help prepare bank payments and understand treasury operations

  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and account schedules, gaining practical insight into financial reporting

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes while learning how deadlines are managed in a corporate environment

  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, with guidance from senior team members

  • Assist with audit preparation, reviewing financial transactions and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Learn and apply company financial policies and relevant regulations in day-to-day work

  • Maintain confidentiality of financial data and participate in secure database management

  • Take on additional accounting-related duties as you expand your skills

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress)

  • 1 to 3 years of accounting experience (including internships or volunteer work)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to accounting software is an asset
