Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, customer service, and retail sales, with the ability to create beautiful arrangements that meet clients' needs. The position requires excellent communication skills and organizational abilities to ensure a seamless customer experience both in-store and online.

Duties

  • Designing and creating floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and events
  • Assisting customers with selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and arrangement options
  • Managing point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
  • Maintaining the floral display area to ensure attractive presentation and proper organization
  • Handling merchandising tasks such as stock replenishment, inventory management, and visual displays
  • Supporting landscape maintenance tasks when needed to ensure the overall aesthetic of the store's outdoor areas
  • Operating e-commerce platforms for online orders and customer inquiries
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering suggestions, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient store operations and a welcoming environment

Experience

  • Previous experience in floral design or related retail environment preferred
  • Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, landscape maintenance, or similar fields is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
  • Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a benefit
  • Experience with merchandising, retail sales, and e-commerce platforms is desirable
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in floral arrangement and inventory management
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality customer service standards
