The Opportunity - Site Manager - Trades Mechanical
MM Limited Partnership ("MML"), a Mikisew Group company, is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of a Site Manager - Trades Mechanical to join our operation at our Syncrude Site operation.
MML provides comprehensive Client Site Services and support in facility maintenance, road and grounds, projects, winterization services, and industrial HVAC services.

- Shift: Monday to Friday, 5/8's.
- Local residency only. No Camp/Accommodations provided.
Working Conditions
- Sites may be noisy and dusty
- Shift work/equip operation in/with varying environmental conditions (day/night/snow/ice/rain/heat)
- Equipment Inspection (pre-use etc.)
- Utilizing personal protective (PPE) as required.
Requirements/Experience:
- Journeyperson Certification in Millwright, Pipefitter, Ironworker, Boilermaker, Electrician, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or related trade (Required)
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role within industrial or oil sands maintenance
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License is mandatory
- Eligible to work at all Oil Sand sites in Fort McMurray
- Clean Driver's Abstract is mandatory
- Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification
- Able to successfully obtain clearance of Pre-access Alcohol & Drug Screening test
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary maintenance teams and subcontractors
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, pumps, piping, etc.
- Demonstrated understanding of safety programs, industrial regulations, and quality control
- Experience working with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP) and scheduling software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships
- Project management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands
