In this role, you'll partner with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver security, IT, and audio‑visual solutions that protect communities and elevate user experience.

Your Impact

  • Design integrated Security, IT, and AV systems that enhance safety, operability, and user confidence across public and private facilities.
  • Lead and contribute to Security Systems Studies , concept narratives, schematic design, detailed design, construction documents, and project closeout.
  • Conduct physical security and IT/AV infrastructure audits , translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops with clients and stakeholders to uncover technical, functional, and operational needs.
  • Serve as a trusted subject matter expert , advising clients and representing WSP in the broader security and technology community.
  • Produce polished, professional technical deliverables—including specifications, reports, and drawings —using tools such as REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Collaborate with local and national colleagues across Building Technologies and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Participate in technical and project meetings with a wide stakeholder mix: executive, end‑user, consultant, and technical teams.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • You bring hands‑on experience with Security, IT infrastructure, and AV systems , from assessments to design delivery.
  • You've worked with, or have exposure to, Threat & Risk Assessments and Physical Security methodologies.
  • You're comfortable navigating networking and IT infrastructure fundamentals in a consulting or technical capacity.
  • You're proficient with design and documentation tools including REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam , and Microsoft 365.
  • You can obtain a Public Works & Government Services Canada Level 2 (Secret) clearance and thrive in secure project environments.
  • You're adaptable—willing to travel when needed and manage occasional overtime to meet project milestones.
  • You hold a valid driver's licence and can travel to client sites across Atlantic Canada.

Compensation:

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $85,100 – $112,800

MB & ON: $73,100 – $102,100

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $76,900 – $102,100

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
