Responsibilities We are seeking a casual part-time Member Services Representative at our Winkler Branch. Your responsibilities will include:
Cash-Related Services:
  • Process member transactions (new accounts, RRSPs, RESPs, RRIFs, TFSAs, term deposits).
  • Balance cheques and adhere to security procedures.
  • Prepare statements, issue debit cards, and order/inspect cheques.
  • Perform administrative duties for the Office Manager.
Sales, Marketing & Promotion:
  • Maintain product knowledge and explain credit union offerings.
  • Respond to inquiries and cross-sell deposit services.
  • Foster business development and contribute to sales/marketing plans.
Department/Credit Union Support:
  • Provide relief and training for team members.
  • Answer calls and participate in meetings.
  • Process member requests (account updates, statements, stop payments, error corrections).
  • Resolve routine member account issues.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

You Will Have
  • Grade 12 diploma plus one year of job-related experience (or equivalent).
  • A pleasant, self-motivated, highly organized attitude with strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Salary and benefits The wage is based on the qualifications of the selected candidate and will be within the credit union grading system. A staff chequing account will also be provided at no cost.
