Overview

Blue Star Learning Centre is currently seeking for part-time instruction, a knowledgeable and experienced Instructor for Red Seal for Cooks to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and preparing students for the Red Seal Cook exam.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured lessons aligned with the Red Seal exam requirements
  • Support students through theory and practical understanding of concepts related to Cooking.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Facilitate engaging classroom discussions and activities that promote critical thinking and active participation.
  • Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages respect, collaboration, and inclusivity among students.

Qualifications

  • Valid IP Red Seal Cook certification
  • Strong instructional and communication skills
  • Proven classroom experience with a strong background in teaching or instructional roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students effectively.
  • A commitment to professional development and lifelong learning in the field of education.
  • Must be fluent in English

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Red Seal Cook certification (required)
