The Role
Wood is currently seeking an expression of interest for upcoming Senior Electrical Lead Engineer opportunity in our Projects Business Unit, this position is located in our Montreal office. This role involves the Electrical Engineering for both Pulp & Paper and Oil & Gas projects from conception to construction within the Quebec region. This role will support electrical engineering design and execution across a variety of greenfield and brownfield projects. The Senior Electrical Engineer will serve as Professional of Record on projects, prepare power system studies, and provide technical leadership for equipment specification, construction packages, and interdisciplinary coordination.

VOS MISSIONS
En tant qu'Ingénieur principal en électricité, vous serez responsable de l'ensemble des activités liées à l'ingénierie électrique, depuis la conception jusqu'à la construction. Vous interviendrez aussi bien sur des projets de développement (greenfield) que sur des projets de modernisation (brownfield).
Vos principales responsabilités :
- Assumer la responsabilité technique en électricité sur les projets confiés.
- Réaliser des études de systèmes électriques (arc flash, flux de charge, court-circuit, coordination de protection).
- Spécifier et évaluer les équipements électriques majeurs (tableaux, appareillages, transformateurs, MCC, VFD, moteurs).
- Préparer les dossiers de construction, les plans émis pour exécution (IFC), les listes de matériaux et les estimations.
- Coordonner la conception avec les autres disciplines d'ingénierie afin de garantir la cohérence et la qualité des livrables.
- Encadrer les équipes et assurer le mentorat des ingénieurs juniors.
