Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across various routes, **Local & Regional Pick Up & Delivery**. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards.

Duties

  • Safely operate trucks for the transportation of freight, equipment, and materials to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operational readiness.
  • Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations during transportation activities.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups.

Skills

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience Driving in all Weather and Road conditions.
  • Experience in commercial driving, including long-haul or local routes.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment for loading and unloading freight.
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining logs and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics services, requiring a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.
