Overview

Victory Sports is looking for an enthusiastic and team-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our crew. Specializing in hockey, baseball, lacrosse, and custom team wear for local associations, we're more than just a sports store, we're a hub for athletes and families alike. If you're passionate about sports, enjoy helping customers gear up, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to meet you.

Duties

  • Provide warm, knowledgeable customer service with genuine enthusiasm for sports and team culture
  • Assist customers in selecting the right equipment, apparel, and accessories across hockey, baseball, and lacrosse
  • Offer guidance on sizing, features, and customization options for team wear
  • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and returns
  • Help maintain a clean, organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and merchandising displays
  • Monitor inventory levels and contribute to stock rotation to keep products fresh and relevant
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and contribute to a winning store environment
  • Share knowledge about local leagues, equipment trends, and seasonal gear to help customers make informed choices

Experience

  • Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sports environments is an asset
  • Familiarity with hockey, baseball, or lacrosse equipment is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for helping teams with custom orders and apparel
  • Willingness to learn about new products and retail techniques to grow in the role
